What to Expect

Navy Ball General Agenda

The Navy-Marine Corps Ball is a tradition within the Navy and within the Notre Dame Battalion to celebrate the Navy and Marine Corps Birthdays. The Ball will kick off with a cocktail hour, where everyone arrives and socializes. The Ball continues with a delicious dinner, after which a short ceremony will take place, including a short explanation and history of the Navy-Marine Corps Ball, the cutting of the cake, and keynote from Guest of Honor ADM Christopher W. Grady. The Ball concludes with dessert and dancing.

More specific information, including the dinner menu and a detailed itinerary will be released in emails closer to the event.

Notre Dame Traditions

The dancing starts when each Company’s 4/C Midshipmen compete in a dance off, followed with dancing for all.
